Summary

This University Place property was unique. It was in a cute neighborhood and it appeared to have had good landscaping work done a long, long time ago. But since then, it had been neglected, so we re-did everything up to our very high standards, giving the yard more than a clean slate - we gave it a whole new sense of life.

The Challenges

This property looked like a once beautiful work of landscaping art had been left to its own devices for decades. Debris covered most of the yard, bedding was overgrown, bushes were in severe need of trimming, and each individual part of the yard seemed to have been allowed to bleed into one another, making it look ugly and uncared for.

What We Made

To improve the quality of every part of the yard, general clean-up had to happen first. We weeded everything, removed all debris, pruned the bushes, and did an expansive blow-off. We scraped old grass and installed sod, installed new bricks to extend the patio, and scraped all beds. For the driveway, we installed underlayment, added small 5/8” gravel, and leveled it. Finally, in the backyard, we installed and evened out beauty bark, bringing this property back to its former glory.
